We believe that to build successful long-term partnerships, we need to be highly trusted by landowners and communities. It’s why we’re on the ground consulting with our communities before we go into planning, and it’s also why we manage our own project construction and grid connections, ensuring in-house oversight of partner activity and maintaining proactive communications with landowners during the build phase. We’re here for the long term to handle any problem solving, ensuring projects are managed safely, on time and in budget.
Over the 30 – 40 year lifecycle of the project for our landowners, we offer long term lease payments while the project is in operation, or we can offer an lump sum payment based on 3 or more years of rental tied to the profitability of the project, giving access to capital to support investment in other parts of their business.
We look to work with local contractors to provide long term work for site maintenance, security and land management. Community funds for local projects we encourage parishes to come forward to work with us on what might be suitable.
As a developer and operator, we provide new sources of renewable energy for the grid, while our investor partners secure stable, long-term returns from the sale of our energy. The typical return for an UK solar farm investor is between 7-11% per year.
We’re backed by OMNES Capital, who have committed to support our project development and construction across Europe and provide us with the flexibility to partner with other independent power producers and developers in early-stage project development. They also support our site acquisition – where we purchase projects in planning – and enable us to diversify our projects with complementary technologies, such as battery storage.
