Our Story

We operate throughout Europe, with projects in development and operation in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, Ireland and Greece, and anticipate the completion of a 10GWp European solar portfolio by 2030.

We’ve chosen to build our expertise in-house, ensuring our external stakeholders work with ILOS personnel throughout the project lifecycle.

With our development approach and capital partners, our assets are designed to create stable, long-term incomes for all parties involved.

What makes us different

We know from our extensive development track record that successful projects, which benefit all stakeholders, start with open and collaborative relationships.

We recognise our projects aren’t built in isolation, so we focus on enhancing relationships with local communities to build trust, gather local requirements and, where possible, mutually shape our proposals.

We develop our solar farms to own and manage and we’re here for the long term as an operating partner for landowners, communities, and the environment.

How We Work

We give our landowner partners confidence of project success through our unique development approach. From the outset we share the most important information relating to planning conditions, grid connections, project commercials and community relations with our stakeholders – aiming to establish positive relationships from day one.

We also manage our own project construction and grid connections, ensuring in-house oversight of partner activity and maintaining proactive communications with landowners during the build phase. We’re on the ground to handle any problem solving, ensuring projects are managed safely, on time and in budget.

As a long-term owner-operator, we naturally look to provide maximum value for our financial stakeholders, combined with asset management that delivers consistent income for our landowners. We also look to support local community projects, working closely with neighbouring parishes. And we ensure our projects secure the Environmental, Social and Governance needs of our investor partners and help deliver biodiversity net gain and overall environmental improvement.

Our Track Record

To date, throughout Europe, we have completed 702MVA in solar power development, bringing clean energy to European grids from Ireland to Greece. In the UK, we have 6 sites under construction, and two more in Ireland, contributing to the additional 3600MVA we have in our European pipeline.

In the UK, our senior directors have developed and operated solar portfolios over the past 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience in working through the planning system, grid connectivity, and building projects which offer long term benefits for landowners, communities and the environment.
